Can you find James in 1851

Both Paul & I have failed to find this couple in the 1851 Census, anyone else like to try
IGI baptism 2 October 1808 Cawood, Yorkshire James Featherstone son of William and Hannah THIS IS WRONG

IGI Joseph Fisher Featherstone baptism 30 August 1807 Cawood, Yorkshire son of William and Hannah Batch No. C109132

there is a James baptised in 1793 on the 7th April son of William and Elizabeth who could be the right one This makes him much older than he said he was

  • Are you saying from the above that James could be a Joseph? Are you sure that the James and ELizabeth in Soho are the right ones in 1841 as that is a long way from home. I found an Elizabeth in 1851 visiting, as follows: 1851 Kingston upon Hull, Holy Trinity; 15 Trinity House
    Elizabeth Clark, head, widow, almoner, b, Hull
    Elizabeth Featherston, 37 visitor, born Hull with a dtr Anne E. Featherstone, visitor, 6 months also born in Hull. the place of birth for Elizabeth F could be wrong although Cawood is not that far away. Something to think about. I have not checked for a JAmes F on his own.
